Vintage illustrations, especially anatomical ones, have some magic in them—such a beautiful, complete shading is achieved with many thin lines. This style was developed to make the copying of drawings possible in a similar way to copying text.
I really love retro style, and it so happens that it’s become very popular. So I decided to draw a retro kitchen. And of course, I will show you how it’s done!

Celebrated mid-century designer Saul Bass designed the original poster for Vertigo, which used spiral graphics, a two-tone color palette and jaunty, unnerving text to create a feeling of unsettling instability for the viewer.
